According to applications, honeycomb ceramic products can be divided into four categories: heat storage body, filler, catalyst carrier and water filter material.
Since the specific heat capacity of honeycomb ceramic products can reach more than 1000J/kgk, the maximum use temperature of the product is over 1700℃. It can be used as a regenerator in heating furnaces, roasters, soaking furnaces, cracking furnaces and other kilns, which can save fuel up to 40% and the output will be increased by more than 15%. The exhaust gas temperature will be lower than 150℃.
Compared with other shapes, the honeycomb ceramic packing has the advantages of larger specific surface area and better strength, which can make the vapor-liquid distribution more uniform, reduce bed resistance, better effect, and extend the service life. It is used in petrochemical, pharmaceutical and fine chemical industries and has obtained a good effect.
