Activated carbon for printing ink

Date :2020-10-15
Classify: Activated Carbon

Screen printing is a printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. A blade or squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh apertures with ink, and a reverse stroke then causes the screen to touch the substrate momentarily along a line of contact.

Our activated carbon powder can be used for this special black ink. It is applied on various substrates to prevent color transfer and provide adsorbent properties where needed.

It needs special activated carbon which needs to meet the following parameters:
Methylene blue Adsorption: >30mg/g
PH:6 - 7 (Neutral)
Particle Size:<20 micron
Iodine number:1100mg/g
Bulk density:0.41g/cm3
